Just put 14” bars on a 2013 street glide. With the throttle by wire plugged in the bike is hard starting, when it does started it bounces off the rev limiter. If I unplug it, it starts and idles fine. Looking at the wiring diagram I don’t see any wires in the wrong spot. What am I missing?

 

Maybe you scraped a wire when pulling through the bars and now it's shorting inside the bars?

 

I held the throttle wide open. Started and idled fine. Wires are backwards but looking at the diagram I had it wired correctly. Not sure if it’s a mistake from Harley or what but I think I got it. If anyone has sip access it would be something I’d like to know if it’s a mistake in the manual or not.

I had to flip the yellow and black tubing.

 

Base color looks to be very close. Black and grey / Black and white.
Haven't put eyes on them personally but that might have been what you did.
A bit color blind are you ?

 

You are not the first guy to do this. Ride on !

 

Switched the TBW pairs. Easy fix.
