Tank gas gauge replacement
I have a flush pop up gas cap and replaced my speedo with a after market speedo tach, gas gauge combo. The tank gas gauge is inaccurate and useless. Do they make a flush mounted cap to replace the tank gas gauge.

Pop off the fake gas cap with the gauge. Take off yer flush pop up cap the put it in the hole from the falsie cap. DAMN, the cap screw threads are too small. SO, get another gas cap and wrap the cap threads with a old inner tube cut is a strip. Wrap the threads with enough rubbber strip so ya gotta really force it in the hole till it sits flush. Did that on my 07 Dyna some 75,000 miles ago and it never came loose.
