Thumbs down P1475, P1477 codes after changing pipes

I have a check engine light and pulled the following ECM codes, P0572, P1475, and P1477. P0572 related to brakes which I will check but I am concerned about the 1475 and 1477 codes which relate to the exhaust actuator. I changed my pipes from stock to V&H dresser duals with screamin eagle street cannon slipons and as far as I know the exhaust actuator was removed in the process. Is there a way of permanently disabling these codes considering the item they monitor no longer exists? or is there some other possible issue causing the Check engine light to come on like oxygen sensor etc?

Probably need a dealer with a digital technician to change the settings or and independent with a unit that can do the same.

Helo Coolbreeze, Please confirm a dealer can disable codes to stop them from appearing? I only ask because in all my searches I only find references to clearing codes (not disabling them) and then fixing the issue that caused them - not disabling codes for redundant hardware....

Diag4Bike can disable it. see video. If you can find someone who has the it, takes all of 5 minutes. I have one, but the swim would take a while!

Thanks for confirming the possibility of disabling a code Jake24. My dealer might not have Diag4 but I'm sure they would have an equivalent tool that could do it. Its good to know I won't have to live with that check engine light much longer... And no - I wouldn't like you to swim... BTW that P0572 code - I checked the brakes and the front brake light actuator isn't working - must have got damaged in the heated grips install process - should be an easy fix. After disabling the exhaust actuator codes and fixing the brake actuator I should be back to a check engine light free bike again.

The dealer may not be allowed to over ride what is causing the codes in your country. That is why you need someone out side the dealerships.
