I put this one on my Street Glide in the spring of 2023. It's good stuff, but if you must have sound this is not for you. I got it off Amazon for a couple hundred bucks.

Thank you!
The microphone is physically a part of the DVR box which is mounted on top of my ECM (recommended by manufacturer) which is obviously under the seat. Any sound picked up by the mic is muffled because of this. Depending on the circumstances, audio may or may not be a good thing. Think road rage.
I stumbled upon this post because I am going to be installing a Vantrue F1 into my 2019 Fat Boy 114. I was simply lloking to see where other people are mounting the cameras because I am **** about making it look good. That said, I installed the Vantrue F1 into my 2018 VMax and it came out STELLAR!! Figuring where to mount the cameras was the hardest part, but the install looks stock.
As far as the performace of the dashcam, Its pretty awesome. Only bug is that the app on my iPhone will get garbled from the realtime video feed sometimes. Not sure why. Everyting is updated and it still does it. However, the cameras loop record and I simply hop on the bike and ride.
Lastly, anyone who installs an actioncam on a bike (GoPro, Insta360), is absolutely clueless. An actual dashcam - not an action cam is what they should be doing. How do I know? I tried using a GoPro 10 on my Harley and it sucked, which is why I am installing the Vantrue F1.

Man, that system looks like a good solid system, but those things are hideous looking. I am hoping I can find something like those that are bit more discreet.
