I'm gonna be honest, (and maybe get "Canceled" by some liberal on this forum, lol!), but I critique/judge EVERYONE. Fellow bikers, cage drivers, people in my neighborhood, people in the grocery store, co-workers, even family members......everybody. And I do it for a reason. How am I supposed to know how I DON'T want to behave or act? Or how I DO want to behave or act? I judge people to see who the "Good" guys are, and who the "Bad" guys are. Who I want in my circle, and who I don't. After 65 trips around the sun, I feel that I've earned that choice. The choice to judge. And although some would never admit it, we ALL do it..........

OP quote: "Anyone unconsciously critique their fellow riders style?"

I'd say I do consciously not unconsciously.

FWIW From my riding experience I give all riders space, especially Harley riders
Race track is another story, unless top 10; with back of the pack amateurs entertaining.
As a final comment, if I critique, I do give credit thinking, ya, that one can ride.

I agree. I rarely have opinions on what other people do, but the Duck walking annoys me tremendously.

I was an MSF instructor for 11 years. I got used to mentally critiquing others. But I used that to be sure I was able to do better and learn from others what not to do. I do wonder how some folks have manged to live as long as they have. On and off motorcycles.

Another pet peeve....I want to run up to those riders and ask if the bike is having fuel management issues and can't idle?

Of course I critique the riders around me. They can be as dangerous as someone in a car. I also, expect riders around me to critique my riding too. I want them to know I am paying attention to what is going on, especially in groups. I'm the safety officer in our local HOG chapter and have recently had to point out some bad habits to a couple riders. One was on a trike and we were slowing for a red light; he brakes early and starts coasting and messing with something on his bike. Completely oblivious that the rest of the group was behind him and most of us on two wheels. The other was a guy on a Breakout and could not take a corner on that thing. He almost ran off the road, across the on-coming lane, twice on one ride. He got pissed when I told him to ride in the back of the group.
