most people want to take short cuts, then they can blame someone else.
the dude with the claw hammer is one!!!! and who pays????
a loose pinion will walk the shaft when the forces of power on/off are exerted. all camming will do it, reason why mfg's will limit the travel or you can get radius ride and the cam will wear out.
before hd tightened up their machining, they even used shimming.
i find the youtube a comical entertainment, watched a dude use a three wheeler to dig a trench and it nearly killed him a few times and, YET, he still went on!!!!
sometimes it should be "YOUSTUPID" than youtube.
each his own, industrial mechanic 47 years and my philosophy is if in doubt go to the book. now IF i say worked only on detroit, then MAYBE i will trust my memory, but working on aprilia to zundap, not so much, more so if it belongs say to you.
you make a funny!!!!!!
what do you think big brother is doing??? protecting the STUPID!!!!!
reason why in the 1960's you could mow your yard with a 1.5hp mower that weighed a few pounds, but now 5hp at the low end and massive amounts of protection and additional weight. after all, if you cannot walk and chew gum at the same time, then perhaps you need to drag the mower across your foot, learn a lesson then, hummmmmm, perhaps NOT!!!
forest gump said it all: STUPID IS WHAT STUPID DOES AND YOU CANNOT FIX STUPID"
youtube on my brother, youtube on. someone will visit you in the hospital, that is IF you make it there.

I have seen countless videos on youtube where some clown is demonstrating the wrong way to work on a motorcycle, and it seems no comment is made to call the guy out, just a bunch of comments on how wonderful the video is...

Here`s an example, this guy brags on how he does the job correctly, then proceeds to install a pair of sealed wheel bearings into a wheel by pulling both bearings in at the same time (1 minute into the video).

the following is how youtube can be of service, exposing the graft.
NOT trying to gab fame and fortune.

BTW: in the end, they tried to buy me out, NAW, when they stopped working, i went to work. HOPEFULLY, they will correct the defects. it cuts like a beast with the new shafts.

super +1 mr. NW
that was the goal, MAYBE someone else will not have to go through what i had to.
i will say that the majority of people just roll over and die, hummmmmm throw away society.
it is amazing how gullible people are. it is a JIM JONES syndrome.
one example: MSRP
why and how????
i build guitars and if it isn't good enough for me then it is not good enough for someone else.
called: PRIDE AND CRAFTSMANSHIP
ever since covid, all about screwing each other.
i build lefties and not one cent more, most will not build one and if they do, the $$$$$$$$$ goes up.
all i can say is flex those sphincter muscles,

tout est dit et fait, discussion terminée

I disagree with all the people soley using youtube. Also a lot varies from year to year. But it is a great resource. I was doing something new to me on that bike. With my manual. But watching a video gave me some good insight into what manual meant when it said position it this way.
