Bolt thread
All this crybaby drama because you refuse to simply tell us what the model and year bike you are working on?
All Harleys are not the same, not even the windshield hardware is the same.
When you go to the dealer and the parts guy asks what model and year, go ahead and tell him it is a frikken Harley windshield used on various makes, models and years.
BUT that parts finder generally requires identification of the year and model of motorcycle in order to identify the correct bolt.
As an alternative, removal of same bolt from another spot in same location is also an option if an ACE Hardware is nearby.
ACE Hardware generally has an entire row of neatly organized nuts and bolts along with a thread size finder.
For highly visible stuff it might be a good idea to replace a section of bolts if appearance is a concern since other bolts might be rusted or just ugly and the new one will stand out.
Keep in mind that if you have a windshield bag the center bolt sometimes needs to be just a little longer.
Wish you well on your project.
