Default front end stuff

I have always updated my toys with later model factory parts, whether it be my Ford trucks, Oldsmobile, and my shovelhead should be no exception. Purchased my Shovel 11/22/1976 and now Looking to install 2000 Showa with dual discs. Also got a 5 in 4 tranny which means running a cable from front end to maintain the stock speedo. Any ideas to make this happen? Btw tia for any suggestions.
