Can`t help with an engine suggestion, I`m a gearhead but a slow rider that needs no more than stock HP.
But the gearhead in me is very interested in what you choose, please keep us posted.
Just a suggestion: if you need to quote a dumb post, just quote a couple of words, not the entire dumb post.

Just ignore Buster the blowhard.
As for your ECM question, you should call Fuel Moto. Those guys are so helpful, and would be happy to answer all your questions about what you would need for the tune to remove the fans if needed.
I bet they have a solution for wet heads. Give them a call, you won’t regret it!
