Default Flywheel stroke

I thought I would post this here as my question concerns a part that fits a CVO model engine.

I just recently had some major work done on my engine at a local dealership. They wound up replacing my flywheels. The flywheel part # 23957-99E showed up in one search I made to fit a 2001 FLTRSEI2. I guess that was a 1550 engine. I have a 1550 engine with SE heads and 10.5:1 forged pistons in it that I assume was a kit installed on my engine by a previous owner or dealership. I'm also assuming that is why the mechanic chose these flywheels.

My question is what is the stroke of the 01' FLTRSEI2 engine? I read that Harley used some 4.25" stroked flywheels back then, and I'm hoping that these are not. I'm just trying to get some verification that he chose the correct flywheels for my bike.

As a 95" Engine you would have had 4" stroke flywheels with 3.875" pistons. There are a couple choices of flywheels theymay have used....P/N tells all The P/N you qhoted is a cast assembly

Thanks helikenny! I figured that it should be, but since I couldn't find actual spec's for the SE 1550 engine it had me worried that the stroke may have been a bit longer.

My bike is back at the dealership due to 1) Low gas mileage issue 2) Using too much oil, and 3) All around poor performance for the build.

Again thanks!
