Default Wheel Bearings

Pretty sure I'm hearing my front one whine off and on. Is that a thing? 27k on the clock.

Lift the wheel and spin it and check for any play in said wheel. It could be just one of the brake pads making contact with a rotor as well.

I had a rear wheel bearing start howling at 9K. It happens. Mine had one of the seals fail.

Cupped front tire can whine in the corners.

Does the phrase "oh HELL yeah!" mean anything?

I neglected the front wheel bearings and got taught a lesson - mid trip.

If in doubt, get them replaced sooner than later.

My 2000 wheel bearings had 113,000 miles when I pulled them out - kicked myself as they were actually fine but I was playing it safe. At about 6500 miles on my 08 the bearings went out front wheel and rear cush drive. Very sad how the quality declined once they changed the bearings.
