What wax / chrome polish do you use? I plan on using zanio on the tins but i dont know what to use on the chrome. Can some one point me in the right direction?
I was curious about this as well as I just purchased my bike last week..The dealer is recommending the S100 kit or Pigsnot but mentioned nothing for the chrome..
Moess, nice to see someone on this board has an F body too..Have any pics???...I am in the process of modding the bejesus out of my 95 Z. Fresh Electron Blue paint, 1.5" drop, stage 3 port and polished heads, 306 cam, lanes true duals, lots of other goodies..I am a die hard ZAINO user for my cars and will probably follow suit on the new bike...I am not sure if you frequent any of the F-body forums like ls1.com or ls2.com but if you do, how long will it take the ZAINO vs TROPICARE war to erupt on the Harley boards??later..Ryan
Any one every use Zoop seal? If so how did it work?
112NDZ28. I do spend some time on the ls1 and ls1tech boards. I have learned alot form them thats why i am here. My SS has ls6 intake, 42# injectors, 5.3 stage 3 heads, hotcam (soon to go), mac headers, ory, slp lm, spec stage 3, slp maf, slp lid, 1.5 drop, qa1 shocks, pro 5.0 shifter, and a little bit of N2O just incase. I think thats most every thing. i only have a couple of old pics.
My step father uses ZOOPS on his chrome truck rims and seems to be happy with it and I am leaning on using it on my bike I think...Looks like next weekend we will be dropping in the motor in the Z...I am finally going to be able to get rid of all those boxes of car parts...Impressive car btw...I also will be using the Spec 3 clutch as well...How do you like the Pro 5.0...I just go mine in...I will try to post some pics when I get home..Later..Ryan
I'm a Meguires NXT and Blue Magic fan myself. I've been told by a friend that the S100 is the best thing on the market for cleaning spokes on your wheels without needing to touch them. Keeps the chrome on 'em longer too.
Since I like to keep the scoots all shinied up, I use Maquires Quick Detailer on the chrome and paint. Occasionally, I use Maguires high end wax on the painted surfaces. Plus, I have some spray plexiglass cleaner/polisher I use on the windscreen.
I use Meguire's car wash if it is very dirty, then HD wax and swirl eliminator. If the bike is not very dirty (water spots etc) I use Motul Wash/Wax, then Motul Silicone spray. Works well and keeps my paint nice and shinny and smooth.
