Been going there for 14 years now. Really growing in numbers by leaps and bounds. The area is awsome. Main street is a 4 laner with bikes lined up on both sides for more then a mile. And you can walk on the sidewalks! I was a bit disapointed the first time we went to Daytona after Lk George. (other then the skin available in Daytona[:@])
Its an older crowd in the begining of the week. Local rice rockets come out Friday and Saturday. We try to find a good spot to watch them try to out smart the cops and do burn outs.
The vendor area is nice. But they charge to get in. Helps pay for the cops and stuff so we understand. When we first started going the Harleys were a minority. Mostly Winger stuff but thats changing fast. For the most part it is for the touring crowd.
It your going make reservations EARLY! Even the camp grounds fill up early.
