Does anybody have a solution to my hands getting numb after riding a half hour. I have not been wearing gloves yet. Stock grips.

thanks

relax - sounds like you're gripping too tight

i have numbness, but it is due to nerve damage.
i have to loosen my grip, and at times ride with one or no hands on the bars, cruise control helps this along with the right hand

Try a throttle rocker if the loosening of the grip doesn't help...

HD padded gloves did the trick for me. The ones with the "gel" in 'em.

Different grips helps also. Changed to the "cushy" grips, kinda foamish thangs and it helped alot.....

When you ride, do you "lock" your arms straight out? I used to teach the new kids in the Navy that when they stand in formation, not to lock their knees. It restricts blood flow and will cause numbness and eventually they will pass out. Seen it a million times.

If your hands only go numb when riding then it's probably something to do with grip, gloves, position, etc. However if they go numb at other times then it could be nerve damage.
