My manual says 91 octane. When I couldn't get it on the way through South Dakota last year, i used an octane booster. My sportster will run better and not ping with higher octane fuel.

Not stuck on any particular brand. But I prefer to find stations that have individual hoses and nozzles for each grade.

If you see a Tanker at the gas station, keep ridin. When the truck comes in to fill up the underground tanks they tend to stir up the sludge on the bottom.
