I'm looking for some help in deciding on a two way radio for my wife and I. We both wear half helmets and each ride our own bike. Would like some advice on what to get. I know most of the time I won't talk to her, but I would like to able to tell her when and where to turn and warn her of anything on the road. Any advice would be helpful, Thanks

I'm not sure if this will help. The Ultra has the built-in CB ....... it's good for intercom and inter-cycle but has the umbilical connection ........ I've been concerned that in a accident being connected might not be a good thing. A wireless (boom-mike to TX/RX) would be ideal in my opinion. One other point ......... the HD boom mike is not a turn-key fit! Some mods to the helmet must be done that may/may not compromise safety. Just my .02
