I have progressive, My cost is 314.00 per year. Riding over 50 years, never a ticket or an accident,I was surprised to find what other people are paying.
I am 44, Married, No ACC or Tickets, and NEW to State Farm last year---I do know that we all forgot about LOCATION. I am in boondocks, and we shoot attempted theives here.lol I think that is the greatest variance, all other being equal!
I pay 390. from progressive for 2005 night train, full coverage. www.bike-line.com has very good insurance and instant quote, very reasonable. Geico was 1200. for same coverage
I have State Farm also and they are always cheaper than anyone else. Just over $300 for full coverage for the year and that is on a 1550 cc bike. [sm=dontgetit.gif]

I can relate to that, if we have a 911 emergency the ambulance would have to stop and refuel. You may want to try HD Insurance through Dairyland. Im 30, married, and pay 497 a year on me Roadking.
Hi Steveokla, I am new to the board but thought i would chime in as i am a currently practicing and licensed property casualty agent in Illinois. I would be more than happy to answer any general questions i feel i can. If you are looking to drive down cost further i would check on increasing deductible's to at least $250, or even $500 or $1,000, then weigh the cost savings against your increase in exposure. If it were me, i would definately look at increasing your Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists Coverage to match your primary BI/PD Limits as there are a LOT of uninsured or underinsured motorists out there. I personally NEVER write UM/UIM limits that do not match primary BI/PD limits for various reasons, including the professional liability exposure same would open me/agency up to. I have personally seen some very costly uninsured/underinsured cases where our insured had no negligence. Would be happy to expound on topic if you have further questions. Hope was of some help to you FWIW. mb
