Softail swingarm chrome inserts?

Default Softail swingarm chrome inserts?

Have Chrome inserts for swingarm. They are just held on with a real thin double sided tape .

Having trouble with them not staying on any sugestions ?

Sorry for that edit, I hit the wrong key here

You have to get the swing arm real clean and wax free first. If you have applied them already and they came off, you should replace the tape with new tape and try again after you clean the area well with something like adhesive remover from 3M. Heat them up with a blow dryer or heat gun after you apply them and press them into place again. They have to be contoured to the swingarm before applying them.

Well thank you for the reply . I guess my question should have been where should i get some of that thin double sided tape to replace . Guy at the dealer actually said to go to autozone and buy something. Just wondering if there is a good product made specialy for scooters. thanks.

It's just the 3m Emblem tape. That'll hold it! Just degrease/clean at TC mentioned.

Forget the tape bs ..use a large dab of clear Silicone ...they wont fall off till you pull them off.
