drive belt blues
I posted \\;a few days ago the problem I had with my 08 Deluxe, a rubbing or rattling sound coming from the rear wheel on the drive belt side. \\; I \\;took it back to the dealer (warranty) and had them look into it. \\; They tightened the belt (1st trip), then loosened the belt (2nd trip), then the third trip tightened it again. \\; No luck. \\; Well I took \\;one last shot with \\;another dealer. \\; The belt guard was the culprit. \\; I'm getting a new one as the one I had was not fastened (welded or riveted or whatever) good enough and the sound I was getting was the same sound we got when we tapped the location where the two pieces meet. \\; This is the same fix others told me about \\;on my previous post regarding this problem. \\; So, beware of the belt guard if you're having this problem.
