2007 Softail Deluxe shuts off
I was riding my bike and suddenly it just shut down. I can start it up again when I straddle the seat but as soon as I sit down it dies. When I sit on the seat and try to start it the starter just clicks and the lights flash. HELP!

There was a recall on our 07's concerning the battery cable where it goes across a weld in the oil tank. The cable can wear through and short out or cause a fire. I would check it first. Rather than take my bike in to the dealership, I chose to make a buffer across the rough edge of the oil tank with pvc pipe. Hope this helps. Mike.
