I went to the control panel and updated all my options after the changeover here; but ever since the work was done, I'm not getting any email notifications of responses to subscribed threads.
BTW: this is still the slowest loading harley forum I've ever been on...and it hangs up quite a bit; so theres still work to do. I've got broadband cable at home and a dedicated T1 server here at work, so its not on my end.

They are not blocked by my ISP, and I figure you guys will get it straightened out eventually; so I'm not going to bother setting up another email account that I won't check regularly.
I figued me not getting notifications was just an issue that hadn't been addressed here yet, no biggie. As far as this site loading slowly, this new version loads a heckuva lot faster than the old one did even when it was working correctly way back when.

You can create a new Gmail account and set it to forward incoming mail to an existing email account. Then set it to Delete Gmail's Copy. This way there's now reason to check the Gmail account regularly.
