Not receiving email notifications

Help!! I am no longer getting emails for the 2 categories that I signed up for. I've tried everything, even in the category it shows that I'm subscribed to it , but, NO EMAILS.
Does anybody know what to do? And yes, I've been in the "profile" section to no avail.

Double check to see that the forum has your correct email address, and double check the pull down menu to see that you have chosen the instant notification option.

In the same boat, got my profile checked and rechecked that I have all the appropriate checks to get notifications and have yet to get an e-mail from the new board

same problem here, email adress is correct !
