I don't remember when it was, but if your bike still has the original seats, they aren't the hardened ones.
Does your E78 have points ignition? The one I rode for over 200,000 miles was an E78. Did one top end job at 125k miles. I stuck in 7:1 pistons because of the crappy gas. Sure got tired of mixing the old leaded regular with the new unleaded premium!
