My speedo on my 07 FLHTC is off by about 4 MPH...This is according to my GPS...Can it be adjusted?

Does it show you going 4 mph faster then you are really going? I've heard that a lot of Harleys are set so when your speedometer says 65 you are actually going 60.

Greetings,

Mine's about 3-4mph fast and from what the dealer told me, there's nothing that can be done about it.

Gee, I nned to check mine. It is a Police model. I wonder if it reads high, could get you out of a ticket if you were stopped.

My '08 UC reads just slightly more then 4 mph's over actual speed (I checked it against a GPS and police laser). When I installed my TTS tuner, I made the adjustment and now it's right on the money.

My ’08 Street Glide reads 3 MPH fast over the entire range.
