Default Saddlebag question

My '02 Low Rider has rigid leather saddlebags permantly installed. I originally thought I could just remove the acorn nuts inside the bag and then reinstall the nut, but the bolt goes all the way through the finder and requires a wrench on the inside of the fender to remove them. I want something a bit more convenient.

Is there any way to make them removable? Does anyone make some kind of adapter or quick release kit.

Thanks for any ideas,
Jim Dawson

Jim -- Your saddlebags look great! Can you tell what brand and model they are? Do you like them? I am in the market for some rigid bags for my '05 WideGlide. I moved the rear turn signals and installed the easybracket posts, but I haven't found the right saddlebags yet.

Thanks
Steve

I just installed Easybrackets on my 97 Heritage STC................I must say this is an awesome way to quickly have on-off bags (takes a minute) and get rid of that tedious process and having that ugly frame bracket showing when the bags are off.. They are easy to install, high quality and they look great on or off. The hardware is included and attaches by replacing 2 of the bolts on your fender struts....nice looking even when the bags are off. They even lock on for security. I got them on ebay for $129 and/or you can go to their website at www.easybrackets.com I've been looking for a long time for something sturdy and good looking while not costing a fortune...........
