Has anyone tried to come up with they're own removable backrest without using the dealers expensive hardware? I wan't to get a low profile backrest\sissy bar I can remove. I don't mind paying for the back rest and the mountin brackets but I cannot see myself paying over $100.00 for the stupid screws they have.
Any one have any Ideas or pictures? even close up puictures of the detachable hardware would help.

P.S. Don't tell me to buy Haulen ***, I don't want to mount to the fender. I love they're products but just don't want to mount to the fender....
