What did I do wrong?
The backrest won't go on, the docking station is not wide enough....
They will only go on one way, right? It doesn't look like the holes would line up if I flipped sides, also don't know what that would help....
The front backrest mount goes on the shocks look closely you will see a groove for the mount to fit in. The rear 2 docking points are not used for the backrest
Just with all the others who have had trouble putting the brackets on, I figured I butchered it too! LOL
I had the bracket on fine,, just didn't know how to put the damned backrest on!
Yea, maybe they make the instructions so vague we'll be glad to pay an hours labor to have them install it? Who knows... Course I have never taken a removable back rest off or put one on yet,,, so I don't feel tooo stupid! Whoda thunk the backrest hooks on the shocks too!
