I presently use a Shoei Multitech. I like the full face protection and the lift-up chinbar. But I seem to get a lot of wind noise at hiway speeds. It gets noticeably quieter if I open the face shield most of the way open. Can anybody recommend a full face helmet that eliminates wind noise?
The quietest helmets I've ever used and unfortunately the most expensive, but you get what you pay for are the Arai line of FF helmets. Also don't forget that ear plugs do wonders. I use the re-usable ones available at most hardware stores for 3-4 $, they're amazing for the price and pretty comfortable.

My HJC carbon helmut fits my head great, yet it is a loud helmut. I tried on so many brands looking for comfort. Some brands just do not fit the shape of my skull.
With helmut air leak noise I'd write that there are two issues. 1) Shield to helmut sealing - this can be addressed with weatherstrip. 2) Air entering from the bottom of the helmut - hence earplugs. I have seen wrap around seals for the bottom which mighty function well in cold weather and reduce wind noise.
