I agree with the above. Once you climb aboard your first Harley and let her rip, you'll never again ask "Why Harley"

A harley may require you to tighten down some things from time to time, but Im talking very very minimal. Most people riding the cheap clones will bash on HD using the same arguments you stated but this total bs. They shave off the name badges from their bike, add pipes and try to pass it off as a HD every chance they get but the truth is its just jealousy for the most part. If you were to ask them what they would truely buy if both bikes cost the same I think you would see even more HDs on the road. Your choice of motorcycle, is a good one, however depending on how much riding you plan on doing a Roadking my also prove a good decision. Ive logged some 50k miles on my King without incident so I would say they are a 'turn key' bike.

I've got a lot of people trying to talk me into an RK instead of the Wide Glide I originally wanted...

What do you think...I've still got time before I pass the Sporty on to my wife and get me a new bike.

Buy it,you wont be dissapointed,

If it ever starts leaking( it wont ) just tell your friends it is marking its territory, its a harley for gods sake.
