Antenna Mount
I have a 2008 Electra Glide Classic. I want to run without the tour-pak but do not want to go with the detachable setup. I bought an antenna relocation kit at my dealership, but that only works if you use the detachable kit. If you had an Electra Glide Standard and wanted to add a radio there would have to be a mount for the antenna (you would think). Any suggestions? I know Pingel makes one but I have a credit at Harley.

Also want to go without the tour pak. My bike is a 97 FLHTC and the antenna relocation kit contains a antenna mount bracket. I am trying to figure out exactly where it mounts but do not believe that it has anything to do with the detachable hardware. Perhaps things have changed on the newer models.

I finally gave up on Harley and took the part back. I ordered an antenna relocation kit from Pingle. It mounts the antenna to the rear fender support bracket. Dennis Kirk also sells them and they have a picture showing how it is mounted. (check their website). Looks like they have one to fit your bike.
