Default flhtc antenna relocation

Own a 97 flhtc that I want to ride without the tour pac. Bought a antenna relocation kit but the instructions included describe moving the antenna from a mounting bracket TO the tour pac. I want to do the opposite and move the antenna from the pac. Anyone know where the remote bracket mounts to? Pictures or link to instructions would be helpful.

If you used the correct Antenna Relocation Kit (76326-00A) It mounts to the bolt for the connection of the saddlebag mounting bar and rear bumper. Harley has a pdf file for the instructions.

Harley states for '98 - '08 but it can be used on your year too.

Thanks for the response. I think I have it figured out. I believe that for my kit to work, I need the detachable hardware kit installed (nothing in the instruction picture looked familiar). I was trying to avoid having to buy that kit and was just going to unbolt the tour pac and leave it off. Back to the drawing board.

Why don't you use the inner fairing type??? Kuryakyn and J&M both sell them. I use the tune trapper from Kuryakyn and it receives just slightly weaker than the normal whip type.

Last winter I installed in fairing antennas for the radio and CB and am/fm. I used a cheap one from ebay for the am/fm and JM for the cb. They both work good for me. It's also 2 less wires to deal with when removing or installing the T/P

This is exactly what I did. I purchased the J&M Hidden CB from Dr. V-Twin and got a great deal.

I use a SIRIUS Satellite Radio, so I don't use Terrestrial Radio much.
The Hidden Antennas make the Detachable Tour Pak much easier.
