Definately disassemble and flush or you will have problems. Just when we get use to it , they switch back to 4 for the cop bikes on account of the abs

I was thinking they used the 5.1 for abs, at least on auto's?

Since DOT3 and 4 are compatible, why not use DOT 4? The higher boiling point gives you a bit of insurance against boiling if you have to use your brakes hard. What Harley do you have, btw? My '05 RK came with DOT 4 and I was unaware any came with DOT 5. Live and learn though! :-)
