help. voltmeter is intermitently bouncing
2003 flhtpi
volt meter is intermitently bouncing between 10 volts to 14
lights dim when this happens
revving engine does not change situation
just started doing this ??????

It would appear you have a loose connection. I would start at the battery terminals and move from there. Could also be your ground has come loose. Suggest you start bike and while watching the meter start wiggling wires and hope the meter starts to bounce at some point. Good Luck!
