Default Help me flip my handlebars...

hey everyone.... so im in the process of turning my 2010 iron to a bobber style chopper and instead of getting new bars just wanted to flip my stock bars upsidedown but i am wondering about the controls... are removing the controls and grips (throttle) just as easy as screw off controls+flip bars+screw controls back on...? or is it alot more technical than that? im hoping its that easy cause i really dont want to spend money having the dealer flip them for me when i can do it myself.... please help.... thanks in advance =)

If im correct, there is no internal wiring on the bars for the iron, so you should be able to simply disconnect everything flip em and just hook it all back up... hope that helps good luck with it and post some pics as ur project comes along!!

+1 on pics. Wanna see how that works out. Especially if they're 21 inch apes....
