Default Help with Wild One install

I am installing Wild One 575's on my 2010 Street Glide. I have them on and I am to the piont of putting the controls back on the handle bars but I cant seem to get controls to line up to screw them back together. It almost seems like the bars are too big round. Any suggestions or help. BTW I do have a service manual but cant seem to find any anwsers.

All the controls fit on the tapered part of the bars not the 1 1/4 part. Slide your grips on (without glue) so you can see where to put the controls.

What jjnoble said is correct. I just finished installing mine, no problems. Once I had the left (non-throttle) side grip on, there was not going back as it was such a tight fit, but everything went back together just fine.

Did you run the wiring through the bars? I had the same issue until I realized the bars aren't dimpled for the wiring...
