Virtually all 1.5" bars made for HD's are stepped down ( smaller diameter) on the ends to accept the stock controls and in the middle. As mentioned above, who makes them?
My 1.5 Carlin's are stepped down for standard controls.
I would believe that almost all bars would have a step down to standard size. It wouldn't make sense for a bar manufacturer to sell something that would require all new controls and switch plates. It would turn a couple hundred dollar job into an expensive and time consuming proposition.
I've changed bars on 4 different Road Kings and everyone has a 1" grip/control area at the end. You shouldn't have any problem, but you might want to make sure you got the flat indention for your front master cylinder when you mock them up. If your going longer than stock length you're also looking at new clutch/throttle and internal wiring. Not hard, just time consuming, plan on another 6 pack in the garage when you start the project.
