Default DWG Mini-apes or drag bars.

Which would better fit me for my 2006 1200L . Just did forward controls. Don't want to "reach" for the bars.

Advice will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Can't get much different than those. You need to try some used bikes to sit on w/ the bars if you're that far off in your decision.

I have the HD Pull Back Handlebars on my Sporty. They brought the bars back just enough that I don't have to lean forward to reach my bars. But I'd like them back a little further. I'm putting Wideglide Mini Apes on mine this winter.

Mini Apes for me... off a Dyna Wide Glide

They get the mirrors up and out of the way where you actually see what behind you as a bonus... lol

Go drag...there's too many people putting on apes (including me) so you gotta be different.

Those minis look to be around 10-11 inch risers. How long was each cable over standard?

I used bars off of a Wide Glide on my bike. I swapped out my stock riser to standard ones. I only wish I would had done it sooner! Some times I think 12" tall bars would be perfect for me, I'm 5'10"....

Your best bet would to sit on as many bikes as you could, that's the only way to truly find out what’s best for you.
