Remove Road King Shift Linkage

Default Remove Road King Shift Linkage

Im trying to remove the shift linkage ona 2006 Road King.. The front was easy, had a nut on the back... but theback piece has no nut on the back, but one on the front.. It wont budge..

Warm it up w/ a torch and then try it, has locktight on threads. Be sure to put some on when you install the new rod! Good Luck.

Try a heat gun first. That should get it hot enough to loosen up the locktite and no flame.
