General Topics/Tech TipsDiscussion on break in periods, rider comfort, seats and pad suggestions. Tech tips as they become available will be posted here.
OK, Just picked up a 2010 Ultra Limited. Since it was used I didn't receive any users manual, etc. I'm trying to figure out how to activate the Hazard Lights. I have tried holding both left/right turn signal switches at the same time, with and without the power on and in the accessory position. Not sure what Im doing wrong or if it isnt working properly.
Also, the passenger Radio volume control (right rear seat) doesnt affect the radio, front rider controller works fine.
I know I need to get a manual but in the mean time I figured Id see if anyone had any suggestions, especially the hazard, never know if I might need it.
From grip controls, set the rear volume, then see if the rear control operates from that level. Mine seems to work that way as a way to limit the passenger's level.
From the Manual " The passenger VOL switch affects ony the passenger headset. The handlebar mounted audio swich is the master volume control." so unless you have a headet plugged in the PTT/VOL on the passenger speaker does nothing.

Thanks, from what I read here it appears that it's only for the headset/CB functions. I guess I can only control the actual speakers from the front, if I read correctley.
BTW, 10F is slightley cold for me, I ride when it's between high 30s and normally not over 100, at least for now...
