Front Brake & Brake fluid ?'s
I have a 2006 Road King Custom.. bought it used in may, have put approx. 5K miles on it, without a problem... Today while riding, think goodness Iwas going under 5 mph. the front brakes decided to gradually stick.. wasnt all of the sudden... then after a bit they finally released.. I called my machanic he came over and bleed the front brakes, was able to ride to his shop.. he told me someone put the wrong DOT fluid in... Is this true..?

I guess it just took this long to mess up the seals... My machanic also pointed out to me that the resevor cap is the wrong one.. It says Only use DOT 5.. I guess I will be looking for a Nice Chome one that says to use DOT 4
