exhaust stain

Recently had some work done on by bike including a new pipe and an exposed / raw air filter. The filter treatment leaked some while I was riding and made brown spots all over my new pipe which cleaned up fine with some Crome polish and a ton of elbow grease. My last ride more leaked out and I noticed it when I first got home and tried to wipe it of real fast with a micro fiber cloth which worked however some of the cloth melted to the pipe

..Ive tried polish, 409, paint thinner, brake cleaner....any suggestions???
