Default 2011 CVO Softail Convertible

I just recently bought a brand new 2011 CVO Softail Convertible. Since it was zero miles, I noticed a heavy vibration that became harder as the bike overpasses the 40 mph. I performed all the suggested tests for vibration at the Owner's Manual. When the bike reached the 1,000 miles, I took it to the local dealer (for 1000 miles standard maintenance) who also performed all routine troubleshooting tests, including examination of the tires condition. In addition, I tested the bike at a DINO, noting exactly what I reported: a very heavy vibration which increases in proportion to the acceleration passed the 40 mph. The dealer's service manager said that this problem is "common and normal" in all 110 engines. At 65 mph my glasses start shaking so hard that I miss all visibility and I must decrease acceleration. I need to solve this problem and ask any knowledgable person to indicate if the problems is "normal" for a $33,000 brand new bike. If someone in this forum has the same bike with the same problem, I would like to be informed.

well, just got my 2012 & am suffering the same "vibrations". Didn't reach the 1000 miles yet for service but I agree it is noticeable. The mix of 110 engine & counter balance motor make this "normal" . Stepping down from a vrod with barely any kind of vibrations whatsoever makes these vibration unbearable. We have to get used to it other wise will hate the fortune that we paid in it

I just posted the same complaint about the vibrations at 55 to 65mph. I just put new V&H pipes on and thought perhaps that was the cause. I guess its not the issue. Perhaps the 110 is the cause, however HD should have figured that out before the put these on the market.
However at 75mph I have no vibration, go figure. Beautiful bike

I'm talking to Harley customer service I have the same vibration in my 2012 convertible the dealer has already attempted to repair it at know success . Thisi is the most uncomfortable bike to ride at hwy speeds and for the price of this bike it is unexceptible for hd dealer to say its normal is wrong on every level customer satisfaction should be there first concern and from my dealing with hd from top to bottom it's not. This will be my last harley
