I recently purchased an entire wide glide front end for my 2007 FXD Dyna Superglide from Demon Cycle Inc located in Pompano Beach, Florida.
I spent over $1100 with them for all the new parts including a new front brake caliper. After taking all the parts to a reputable shop for installation, but the front brake caliper and front forks both leaked fluid and the front brakes would not bleed and it leaked around the pistons. After several weeks of trying to get an answer from Demon Cycle Inc, Mainly the "complaint department", (his name is Al) I was told that its the installation shops problem and not their product, therefore they are not responsible and its my problem now. Really? All the parts leak fluid, but its an installation problem? How?
If anyone, I mean ANYONE is thinking of purchasing ANYTHING from Demon Cycle. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! It is not worth the time or effort to deal with these people AT ALL! Their products are crap and they know it!
I will be doing a report with the better business bureau and also speaking with a legal attorney as I now have to spend MORE money to repair the supposedly new front end parts!!!
Geez. Will folks on this forum NEVER learn. There are countless horror story threads on this forum about Demon Cycle dating back at least four years. And yet, DC is STILL in business and folks are STILL buying their crap. And, we're all surprised when yet another new DC horror story pops up.
I didn't know about HDForum until AFTER I had been screwed by them so hard! And after seeing all the posts about them, I have NO idea how they are still in business either!
