Default Got Tools?

Looking for advice for a newbie here. Interested in going out for some 1/2 day type rides. What essential tools on board do you carry? Any advice appreciatred, Thanks.

how mechanically inclined are you , screwdriver, pair of vice grip for some , half the tool box for others. The harley 12 in one screwdriver that has torx and reg bits and nut driver is pretty handy for most everybody and will do a lot for no space . some of the cruise tools sets are pretty complete and will do a almost anything you need to do on the side of the road. a few fuses and bulbs are handy , really just depends of how much you want to be able to do to it when on the side of the road.
oh yeah flashlight always carry a flashlight

Thanks Bob, I'll look into that HD driver set today and get a small mag light. It's a beautiful morning for a ride here in southern California. Thanks again.

10mm wrench (battery)
12 point 1/4" socket, wrench or both (brake pads)
full set of allens 1/8 - 3/8" and torx t-15 t-50 (everything)
tire plug kit
tire pump or aerosol equivalent

I bought this unbelievable expensive item and doubled the costs in add ins like wrenches light test leads cutting tools drill bits all the missing things.
will be mounting this teardrop tool box on my fld soon
about a grand in tools always with me
worth every penny
