Question No Oil Pressure

Looking for some advice. I have a '92 FXR, 1340 Evo. I recently had the oil tank powdercoated. Somehow a piece of masking made it into the oil feed to the oil pump, blocking it. Motor made a few noises and I shut it down.

After clearing the clog, I installed a pressure gauge for monitoring.

Started the bike up, initially read about 10lbs at idle. Oil began puking out breather into air cleaner. Oil light came on and pressure read zero.

Pulled all the lines and checked for any other plugs, none found. Oil is frothing a bit in the tank. Idle seems normal. No strange noises.

Any ideas as to why I have no oil pressure?

Make sure all the lines are clear and connected correctly.

A piece of debris may have found its way into the pump, either blocking it or causing it to shear a key on one of the gears.

on the oil pump its self you can pull the big screw drive type plug next to the tower screw turn motor over and bleed oil pump this is the lower big screw on top of oil pump and then pull the oil sending unit out and make sure there is not some powder coat under it.. but bleeding the oil pump will be a for sure way you know its getting oil.
When they powder coated the oil tank i bet it got trash in it an it never took a new prime or lost its prime from clog..also check wire to sending unit. when you pull oil sending unit out be careful when your puting it back in not to over tighten it cause it will crack your case if you do..That is the weekest part of cases where the sending unit goes in so take your time and be careful!!!Just some ideas..
It might take 1 or 2 times to get a good prime if thats what it is so dont be scared to leave that plug out of oil pump and let a good amount pour out.
The foam or bubble in the oil tank are from vent line back to tank so just because there there does not mean your oil is moving threw engine!!Good luck

You can pull plug wires so engine does not start up while your priming the oil pump..
