Now, if it hadn't been for the fact that my wife gave this to me for our anniversary I would've thrown this damned thing in the can a long time ago! I'm sorry, I haven't taken pictures of it but this fairing was a g-dam mess! I will take some pictures of it later tonight and post them as soon as I can. It just didn't fit right and after I got done grinding and cutting it apart I found out why. Because it was a f'n hack job! Nothing fit right, I thought it was because the nacelle was too big. Wrong! It was because it wasn't built right! The workmanship put behind this fairing was extremely poor to say the least. One of my hairs is thicker than the fiberglass he used to lay it up with, nothing fit or lined up and there's gaps between the inner and outer fairing big enough to drive a Geo Metro through it. All the corners and edges have no fiberglass cloth in them. It's all cabosil which is just fiberglass resin filler, all of which I've removed. Speaker and stereo holes have been covered because it looks like he used a chain saw to cut them and they weren't centered. I'm a little pissed and can't understand how a person can sell a motorcycle part that's this bad and still relax enough to sleep well at night.
So they say. Lol! I gotta say when I first got it I was infatuated with it and my opinion in the beginning was that it was well built. I was so wrong. It will be a thing of beauty once I'm done but it's too bad I have to put so many hours into it to make it that way.
Some of the aftermarket fairings require you to remove the chrome trim strip
on top of the nacelle, and replace it with a the RK standard type handlebar mount.

Thanks for your input. I ran into so many problems to get it to fit properly I decided to rebuild the whole thing so the fit is no longer an issue. It's been a major rebuild.
If you don't mind me asking, where did your wife buy the fairing from? I am in the market for one and if you say the workmanship was really bad then I will try to avoid that manufacturer.
