I am looking for some advice and I am hoping the members on here can help me out. I ride a 2007 Dyna Low Rider and I am looking to add a set of saddlebags and it has been over whelming thus far. So a couple questions I have for the forum are, knowing I need to re-locate the rear turn signals is that something that is easy to do for a beginner or is it recommended to have a shop do it? Secondly I have been looking at mounted bags as well as throw over bags. Seems the throw over bags are cheaper in price. Any feed back on which is better and how easy are they to install? Again I am new to this so any advice is appreciated.
I am new, again, to it also but Viking Bags seems the way to go for me. They not only sell the bags but the hardware to go with it, and the prices seem really good. They also give video on how to install and their CS is pretty good.
Cruiser Customizing for turn signal relocation kits. It gives great advice and I have not used their CS yet. I use to work on my Panhead years ago and never gave it a second thought.
Good luck with it. I am going to install my turn signal kit, and go with some throw overs from Viking.
