Buying a used bike that already has a guardian bell
General Topics/Tech TipsDiscussion on break in periods, rider comfort, seats and pad suggestions. Tech tips as they become available will be posted here.
I've said this in the Gremlin Bell thread..
I had one on the last used bike I bought and replaced it with one from my daughter.
It is indeed nonsense.
When your card gets pulled it's your time to go..
No bell is gonna stop it.
So keep the bell, remove it, give it to a friend, **** on it and throw it over your left shoulder..
It won't matter one bit to your fate.
A friend has a successful indy shop has many wrecked bikes out back with bells on em.
Gremlin bells capture gremlins. You either need to melt it down (live volcano works best) or pound flat with a hammer, fold in the middle then repeat 5 more times.. Replace with fresh one.
