Hi gang I'm back. My piggie killed the ignition module again can someone please help 01 sportster 883 H. I have been so frustrated with this problem and HD Gainesville Fl just said they have no way to test the Ign. module??? WTF are they saying. Is there any one that knows how to test the thing.? this is the 5 wire unit not 3. Also can someone let me know what each color is doing. Pink, green/gray,purple/white,black/white and black. The bar code # 32465-98-97206 If I can kinda know I can run down each wire to where it is supposed to be. I have already had the original one replaced and it lasted around 100 miles. I got this one from E-bay and have it installed my self but am afraid to try to crank the thing. If it burns out again I will probably scrap the bike and not ride any more. I have had it hanging in my shop for a year scared to mess with it.
I do have the Clymer repair manual.
