FXWG, Starting/hasn't ran in a while

FXWG, Starting/hasn't ran in a while
Hi guys,
So I picked up a 81 FXWG, Hasn't been started in a while, not sure how long, I would guess a year maybe at most.
I dragged it home, Havn't tried to start it am going to work on it on the weekend.. Any tips what to do?
Ill make sure fuels in the tank,
petcock ON
The battery looks like its dead, are they 12v or 6v?
